The concept of American Baptist Women assisting students who were pursuing education toward a Christian Ministry began in 1934. The fund at that time was to help students who were studying at the Baptist Missionary Training School in Chicago, which closed in 1961.

The American Baptist Women of Great Rivers Region continued the scholarship for men or women who want to pursue their education. If you or someone you know is pursuing education toward a Christian Ministry, apply today using the GRR ABWM Student Aid Brochure. The deadline for applying each year is May 1^st.
